Web standards war

Being in the web industry, I follow the web standards war with interest - and not a little bit of skepticism and overt scorn.

In that vein I propose we get all the infighting over and down with by converting the browser standards war into a Tower Defense game, put it up on Newgrounds and do this properly.  Everyone's tower is their favourite standard/ rendering engine/ browser/ whatever.  Your defenses against assault are rated.  "Bluster" is cheap, but short-sighted and weak.  "Accessibility" is expensive and narrow, but very strong.  "HTML 5" is broad but flaky.  "Fast JavaScript" is expensive, wide ranging, and quick to refresh (subject to network load).

Any developers want to take this on?

Well we could look at building it, but first we'd have to argue about whether to build it using svg, canvas, flash, pure html, silverlight, air, water, piss or wind...

Right. Forget that idea then, I'm going back to Lego.
